We are working to end South Dakota’s total abortion ban because we should have the freedom to make their own personal health decisions, without interference from politicians. Sign up to receive updates and information about our campaign.
It is up to South Dakotans to keep their medical care between citizen and doctor, we need to exercise our civil rights and codify reproductive rights into our state constitution. That is what the reproductive freedom amendment to Restore Roe in South Dakota is all about.

Who We Are
The Dakotans for Health Freedom Coalition is a statewide coalition of over 500 organizations and concerned citizens working to ensure all South Dakotans have the power to make decisions about our own reproductive health care.
Right now, South Dakota has a total abortion ban, even for survivors of rape and incest. Women in South Dakota can’t receive abortion care, even if their health is at risk.
The decision of whether or not to have an abortion is a personal choice that should be made by South Dakotans, their families, and their health care providers – not politicians in Pierre.
Restore Roe v. Wade in South Dakota
End the Abortion Ban. Restore the rights that women and girls of South Dakota had for fifty years under Roe v. Wade.
