Who We Are
The Dakotans for Health Freedom Coalition is a statewide coalition of over 500 organizations and concerned citizens working to ensure all South Dakotans have the power to make decisions about our own reproductive health care.
Right now, South Dakota has a total abortion ban, even for survivors of rape and incest. Women in South Dakota can’t receive abortion care, even if their health is at risk.
The decision of whether or not to have an abortion is a personal choice that should be made by South Dakotans, their families, and their health care providers – not politicians in Pierre.
Passing this amendment will end our state’s total abortion ban and make sure South Dakotans and their families can make the decisions that are right for them.
Freedom Amendment G
Freedom Amendment G will restore the rights that women and girls of South Dakota had for fifty years under Roe v. Wade. Plain and simple. You can read it yourself here. Then sign up to help our campaign ASAP.
Thanks to the work of over 500 volunteers from across the state, we turned in over 55,000 signatures to the Secretary of State’s office on May 1. We were certified to be on the ballot as Amendment G on May 16.
